Clapp Children's Center is nestled within the campus of Breckenridge Village in Willoughby, Ohio. The center is a stone's throw away from the Willoughby Fire and Police Departments as well as Lake West Hospital.
Breckenridge Village Safety and Security monitors Clapp Children's Center on a 24 hour schedule to ensure the safety of the campus for the children and residents cared for. The Security personnel on campus are on call through a walkie-talkie system which requires only the push of a button for immediate assistance.
All employees of Clapp Children's Center and the surrounding campus of Breckenridge Village undergo extensive evaluation prior to hire which includes drug screening, physical evaluation as well as background checks.
Our on-site security system allows arrival and departure access to childcare staff members and security personnel only. All visitors and parents will need to be escorted in and out during arrival and departure as well as visits. This ensures the safety of all children in our care and ensures that staff are aware of arrivals and departures at all times.
